So, it’s been 4 days since the big gyaru meeting in Amsterdam and time for me to re-cap this awesome weekend for you!

The fun started on Thursday afternoon, when Monica, Ingvild, Eivind and Amanda arrived at the airport. They were all going to stay in Amsterdam until Monday. As it was already pretty late we decided to go to the hotel/home. Monica and Ingvild stayed with me. The room my boyfriend lived in (he’s moving out today!) is quite small, so it looked so crowded in there!

Anyway, on Friday morning we got up early. Monica had to go to the airport to pick up her boyfriend Marcus. It was his birthday and she had a big surprise for him, but I will tell you about this later. Me and Ingvild went into the city to meet up with Eivind, Amanda, Charissa, Max and Daan. We did some shopping and some sightseeing which included the red light district.

In the afternoon we all got ready to go to the restaurant Monica had booked a table at. Everybody was there around 6:30 pm, and at 7:00 pm she would arrive with Marcus. Marcus didn’t know everybody was there, as it was a surprise. He was blindfolded and Monica helped him get into the restaurant. Everybody was silent…. Until Monica pushed the blindfold down and we all shouted ‘Happy Birthday!’ (≧∇≦)

He was quite shocked to see everybody at the restaurant, as he was kind of angry with some people that they didn’t want to meet up with him and Monica during the day (we weren’t allowed, orders from miss Monica!) (ノ´_ゝ`)ノ

We did some bar-hopping in the evening and went home pretty early.

On Saturday morning we met up with loads of people in Amsterdam. ( ゚▽゚)
We decided to split up in two large groups, one group went shopping and the others visited the sex museum. I was with the group who visited the sex museum, which was pretty hilarious.

We walked around a bit, ate some lunch and then went ahead to Wagamama to eat dinner. The food was so good, my tastebuds had a little party going on in my mouth! ヽ(o`皿′o)ノ

In the evening, we said our goodbye’s to some, and our ‘see-ya-laters’ to others. We went home for a bit to change into a different outfit and then went partying!

And what a party it was. We first walked around a bit, trying out different kind of places, but none were appealing to us. Suddenly Marcus said he had seen a bar earlier that had 10 shots for 10 euros. As alcoholic drinks in Norway are pretty expensive, the Norwegian people were quite surprised by the price.

We went to some kind of Pancake House, which was also a sports bar, and a coffee shop, and a regular bar. It was a weird place, but Marcus insisted to stay there. I am glad we did, because that night has probably been the best night I have ever had! \(^▽^*)/

On Sunday we went to Scheveningen. The original plan was to go to the beach, but the weather was so bad, all we did was have lunch in a restaurant and walk around in the small shopping mall. In the afternoon we went back to Amsterdam to meet up with some others and had the most amazingly cheap dinner at an Italian food place near Leidse Plein. 5 euros for any dish? Yes please! ( ´ ▽ ` )

In the evening we hung around a bit before going home pretty early. We were all kind of tired. On the next day, Monday, all we did was hang around the house and relax a bit. In the late afternoon we met up with Eivind at Schiphol (Amanda already left (; __ ; ) ) and sat around a bit. Eivind (and Amanda) gave me some beautiful flowers as a thank you for organizing this meet. So kind and sweet! (^▽^*)

Overall the weekend was so much fun and I would like to thank everyone who attended for making this meeting this fun!

For some odd reason we always end up eating lunch at La Place during a gyaru meeting. What is up with that?
